SK170 Brent Hayden
Brent Hayden. The man with the shaved head. Sprinting legend.
Canadian Swimming World Champion and Olympic bronze medalist, Brent Hayden, shares his incredible journey, from tying the great Italian swimmer Filippo Magnini for his first world title in the 100 freestyle in 2007, to standing on the podium at the 2012 London Olympics, to making a triumphant comeback after a 7-year hiatus. Hear firsthand about his epic achievement of becoming the oldest swimmer to break the 48-second barrier in the 100m freestyle and nearly leading Canada to a relay bronze medal in Tokyo!
Brent also is quite the content creator these days and he tells us about his learnings from having a few videos go viral. It's too bad we recorded this conversation in the morning because it turns out Brent is a scotch aficionado. Next time we'll do this in person and share some proper beverages.
