SK263 Rylee Erisman Returns

Rylee Erisman returns for another episode of Social Kick following an epic summer in which she won 8 total medals (5 gold, 3 silver) at the World Junior Championships, including 2 individual triumphs in the 50 and 100 freestyle and a silver in the 200 free. On top of that ridiculous haul, Rylee finished the meet with a triple in the final session, winning 2 and medaling in all 3 events in less than an hour. While she’s still of “age group swimming” age, sessions like that are incredibly rare at the elite level.

Rylee checks in with us as she is in the midst of college recruiting trips, so we hear from her on her experiences thus far, including what she’s looking for in a program, how much she anticipates her training to change, and the factors that led to her making the choice to swim in college.

Rylee also tells us what she learned from this past summer, what she’s most looking forward to about officially being part of the US senior national team and going to the Pan Pacs next summer, and what things are going on in her life in the year in between.
